I went to brush my teeth the other night and it was like all the skin on my gums slid off and started bleeding. I was horrified! I looked it up and best guess was SCURVY!! or Vitamin C deficiency.
Soooo I got some supplements, took about 4,000mg a day and the problem disappeared and pretty quickly too. So I've added C to my list of supplements as well as some gut flora for good measure (having indigestion).
I thought that was worth mentioning as my research found that it was somewhat common on a ketogenic diet. I am careful not to take it with some other meds to prevent non-absorption...
Anyway, I thought that was worth a mention...
